Ride & Walk for Relief
A unique charity ‘cycling, walking and bathing’ event to support the one in five Australians suffering from mental illness
Peninsula Hot Springs hosts the second Walk for Relief
We made the difficult decision to pause the 7th Ride for Relief in 2025 due to low registration numbers, which made the event unviable. However, we will continue to make every effort to bring Ride for Relief back to life in the future.
The 10km walk event
A beautiful 10km walk in the historical Pt Nepean National Park, one of Victoria’s most outstanding coastal sceneries. An optional entry with hot springs recovery bathing is available.
The walk event will start with a Welcome to Country ceremony to pay respect to the traditional landowner, followed by a Yoga stretch before promenading to the scenic beachside path of Pt Nepean.
the ride Cancelled for 2025
Following the successful delivery of Ride for Relief 2024, the event will again offer two options of entry: a 6-day tour, which will start at Metung, an emerging hot springs destination, explore beautiful East Gippsland regions, then traverse back to Peninsula Hot Springs on the Mornington Peninsula via Phillip Island and a ferry across Western Port Bay, and 1-day rides that take riders in pelotons around the scenic terrains of the Peninsula.
the cause
100% of funds raised go directly to Mentis Assist, a community not-for-profit mental health support service that provides specialised mental health services for people living with severe mental illness in and outside of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Your generosity provides Mentis Assist with flexible funding to help support those living with mental illness to access treatments, re-engage in their community, re-build their lives and to ultimately reduce the number of people who lose their lives to suicide each year and instead, provide them with hope for the future.

Please sponsor an individual fundraiser or a team to support our commitment to improving the quality of life of people with mental health challenges.
